Stacking the Shelves is a feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's a way for us to share the books we got during the week.

Vlog:

Mentioned in the vlog:

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater - I have been hearing such good things about and I'm a fan of Maggie's previous books so I'm looking forward to this

Heart Broken and Horny - I received these zines from the author after finding out about them via Danielle. I noticed that the author is vegan and it sounds like mature YA so I can't wait to read these

I also received a very cute post card from Chachic! The card is adorable - thank you!

I went to the library to get the rest of the Iron Fey series and found 2 of them, The Iron Daughter and The Iron Knight. And then I also grabbed a few more: Finding Freia Lockhart by Aimee Said, Mostly Good Girls by Leila Sales and When It Happens by Susane Colasanti.

They were also selling some slightly damaged books so I picked up 3 for $3: Sweetly by Jackson Pearce and I was able to add to my Georgia Nicholson series picking up Startled by His Furry Shorts and Luuurve is a Many Trousered Thing by Louise Rennison

This is a great list. I'm going to be reading The Raven Boys this month and I'm on the waiting list for the first book in the Iron Fey series. I can't wait.
I have heard good things about Sweetly as well. I'm looking forward to your reviews.

So jealous you got The Raven Boys. I've been wanting to read it but lately, I've heard some negative reviews about it so it dropped from the top of my must-buy list. Hope you like it though. Happy reading!

Awesome books! I really need to pick up a copy of The Raven Boys soon! I've heard some great things! :)

YES THE RAVEN BOYS! I loved it, although not as much as The Scorpio Races, but hopefully my review will go up for it this week and you can see just how awesome I thought it was. I hope you enjoy it, Mandee! I haven't heard of ANY of your library books, but they all look awesome. I wasn't a big fan of The Iron Fey Series, but I hope you like it, and I still have to start the Georgia Nicholson Series. It sounds soo cute and adorable, so I hope I can pick up a copy and start soon!(: Fantastic haul this week, Mandee! I hope you enjoy all your incredible new novels! :D

I promised myself I wouldn't read the Raven Boys because I am not a huge fan of the author, but I am so tempted to throw in the towel and do it. I'll had to wait and see though what blogs I trust (like you)think.

I want to read Sweetly but after Sisters Red (which is ok but I was convinced I was going to love) I've been holding back a bit. I hope it's good though and Georgia Nicholson rocks!

PS, really sorry for not stopping by last week (thanks for all your comments btw) but been having arguments with Internet Explorer for the last few days. Now and Firefox and wondering why I didn't do that before...

H&H sounds SO intriguing! I must find out more about it and stat! Lila Sales is lovely. I read Past Perfect last year and really enjoyed it, I can't wait to read Mostly Good Girls! I watching Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging last night (I love that movie. Robbie is sa-woony ;) and now I feel like continuing the series. I've read up to #2 and after reliving the movie fun, am looking forward to continuing Georgia's teen, drama filled journey.

Epic book haul! Have fun reading :D

I just finished The Raven Boys and was surprised how much I LOVED the characters, the story was a little slow though. Great haul this week, your library has quite the selection!

Great books this week, Mandee! I always end up leaving the library with a stack of books instead of just the one or two that I originally went for. I still need to get caught up with the rest of the Iron Fey series; I've only read The Iron King so far. Enjoy all of your books!

Okay, those Heartbroken & Horny zines sound so mysterious. Please review them! Also, the "slightly damaged" books don't look damaged at all. I hope they are just near perfect for you:)

I kind of cracked up at your vegan detective work. Can you tell I love bacon by the way I am typing this sentence? Probably.

Ooh, I got Finding Freia Lockhart a while ago during a Fishpond spree so let me know when you read it. :) Your library books are in such good condition. The paperbacks in my library look like they've been chewed on by dogs.

I was totally interested in the zines after Danielle's review too. Can't wait to see your review! Another great StS.

The Raven Boys!! I NEED to get my hands on that soon. I'll have a look around for it next time I go out. I love me some Maggie Stiefvater and this offering of hers sounds just as amazing as any other! Excited to read your thoughts.

Yay for more Iron Fey books! I also hope you enjoy Sweetly. I have Sisters Red by Jackson to read, which I hope to get to soon...ish.

You are so cute and I love your top (maybe it's a dress?). Curious what you think of your Colasanti book. I have had one of her older ones on my Nook for quite awhile and I haven't read it yet. I do like that her recent book is about her own experience with bullying.

Hope you have an awesome week! It was so nice to hear your voice. :)
