Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's a way for us to share the books that we received during the week.

This week I received two books:

Scarlet by A. C Gaughen from Bloomsbury Australia - I've recently read a couple of reviews for this and it sounds good! The only Robin Hood story I'm familiar with is Robin Hood: Men in Tights and I have a feeling this is going to be nothing like that ;)

Speechless by Hannah Harrington from Harlequin Australia - this is a finished copy, my review is here

Thanks for dropping by :)

Such a short and sweet haul this week, Mandee. I wasn't a big fan of Scarlet although I know many people were, so I hope you enjoy it! I love the Aussie Cover of Speechless and your review for it was spectacular, so it's nice to have a finished copy of that now too! :) Happy Reading, dear! :D

I haven't heard of Scarlet before, Mandee- i'm intrigued. I haven't read any Robin Hood retellings or books inspired by this story so i'll have to keep an eye out for your review of this one!

Nice haul! I like the Australian cover of Speechless much better than the US cover! Enjoy your week!

Great books this week. I picked up Speechless this week after reading your glowing review :) Can't wait to see what you think of Scarlett, it seems interesting. Happy Reading!

Awesome books! You convinced me to add Speachless to my tbr when I read your review and Krista over at Nawanda Files has convinced me to read Scarlet. I hope you enjoy Scarlet, it sounds sooo good! *by the way* I know this is random but... is it just me or does the girl on the Scarlet cover slightly almost look like Nicole Kidman but with brown hair? Haha. Weird.

Ha, these are two books I've started that I really need to finish! I hope you enjoy them both, Mandee. :D

I was hesitant to read Speechless because I did not love Saving June. I didn't hate it, but lie you, I did not connect with it as much as other readers. But after seeing how much you loved Speechless, I think you may have convinced me. :)

AHHH!!! I'm trying to stamp down my frightening levels of excitement at people I like reading books I love. Scarlet's one of my favorite books of 2012, I absolutely adored it, so I hope you enjoy. It was actually my first Robin Hood book as well, as I too grew up watching Men in Tights. =)

I've heard nothing but wonderful things about Speechless so I'm excited to see your thoughts there as well. Maybe with your powers combined all of my bookish friends can convince me to read this contemp.
