In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren. It's a way for book bloggers to share the books they received, purchased or borrowed during the week.

Morning kids! I'm doing my IMM post a day early because I have a review to share with you guys tomorrow and I've been waiting to post so I won't delay it another day! This week I was so happy to find out that two Aussie YA books that are due out tomorrow, were already appearing in some Dymocks stores. I raced out and bought a copy of Preloved by Shirley Marr which I've already read & loved (review here) as well as Love-shy by Lili Wilkinson. I received the ebook of Love-shy from Allen and Unwin but seeing as it's one of my favourite books of 2012 I just had to own a paperback. My review will be up tomorrow morning, it's such a funny book with a sad side too and I hope you'll all get a chance to read it. While at the store I saw a copy of Across the Universe for $3.99 and I grabbed it even though I've read really mixed reviews.

And just now I went back to the book store because Kate Gordon announced yesterday that her new book, Vulpi, was already in some stores. While there I also grabbed a copy of Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. Lauren is going to be in Sydney on Tuesday, take note Sydney YA fans ;)

For review this week I received Losing It by Julia Lawrinson from Penguin Australia. I've heard really good things about this book and I'm looking forward to reading it soon.

And thanks to author Emma Cameron, I received a copy of her book Cinnamon Rain from Walker Books, another Aussie YA book I can't wait to read.

I received two books from blogers this week: Sash from Sash & Em asked if I'd like to do a book swap with her, she wanted a copy of Raw Blue by Kirsty Eagar, a book I am always happy to send overseas and in return she sent me Dying to Know You by Aiden Chambers. Plus I won a copy of Three Novelettes by Dorothy Kamal, Isabella Whitcher and Khadija Mossavi from Jayne at The Australian Bookshelf - thanks to both of you :)

And that's for me this week, I hope everyone got some great books this week, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys got!

I was just thinking the same thing about the Losing It cover:)

I am so excited to read your review tomorrow. I loved Pink and really enjoyed Pocketful of Eyes. I can't wait to get a copy of this one. And Preloved, too! Such an exciting book week for you!

Ahh they all look so awesome, where to start? My copy of Across the Universe also comes from Dymocks, but mine was $4.99 :p You know, Vulpi looks pretty interesting, and I have Lauren Oliver's Delerium and Pandemonium, but not her other series.

I also had multiple trips to the book store this week, which got out of hand!

Enjoy your lovely new books!

I haven't heard of most of these books, probably because they are Australian. I'm going to have to check these out and keep an eye out for your reviews, since they are more expensive for me to buy.

Great haul! I'm so glad to see a Lauren Oliver book in that pile. Before I Fall is SO amazing and emotional. I really hope you'll love it! :)

Also, I haven't heard of Vulpi before, but that book looks great! I will definitely have to check it out. :)

Before I Fall! Get your tissues ready, I certainly needed them when I finished it. Lauren Oliver NEVER fails to impress! I really enjoyed Across the Universe - I need to get my hands on the sequel soon. I've been hearing some good things about Losing it the past day or so. It's not usually my kind of read, but I may be swayed when the gushy reviews come in :)

So your mail box is kinda AWESOME this week. Happy reading!

Great IMM. I need to read Losing It and Before I Fall. I had mixed feelings about Across the Universe, but in the end I enjoyed it (I worked out the mystery and that bugged me), the sequel A Millions Suns was very good - I didn't predict the end :-)

This looks like a great selection of books. I love the cover of Cinnamon Rain, and Love-shy sounds excellent (I read your review earlier)! Happy reading :)

Even though I'm not a fan of sci-fi, I still thought Across the Universe was really great. Before I Fall is one of my favorite books--I have even reread it and I rarely reread books because there are too many new ones to read!

Losing It has been on my wishlist for awhile, can't wait to see what you think! I loved Before I Fall.

Hope you enjoy them all!

Before I Fall was a fantastic book!
I came across your blog today, and was fascinated that you guys are vegan. I'm a vegan as well, so it's always cool to know that other people are too.
Enjoy your books :)
